Pamplin College of Business partnered with Marriott International to host the CodeFest competition.

Codefest is a a competitive event to build functioning prototypes of innovative technology solutions that solve real-world challenges, and tap into novel business opportunities in the travel and hospitality space.

Event UX & Media Designer

During CodeFest I was able to use my event production experience and design a media experience for the event.

I crafted visually engaging and user-friendly digital interfaces for event-related web applications. This allowed me to combine my expertise in graphic design, UX/UI, motion graphics, and frontend implementation to create immersive online experiences that supported the event goals—like attendee registration, navigation, views and impressions for social engagement.

Design

Event flyer redesign into a digital display

I Implemented the designs into web platforms using Flowcode and was able to track the scans

Augmented Reality

Using Adobe Aero I designed an interactive display using 3D versions of the existing design.

Digital Signage

Integrating my experience with live-streaming platforms, social walls, networking tools allowed me to better understand and design digital touch points within hybrid and virtual events and integrate them cohesively into the user journey using QR codes management

This QR code was displayed physically and digitally through the entire event where users could access the event webpage.

This allowed updates to be made in real time such as displaying the schedule during the event and removing the registration button once the deadline had passed
